RDA Diary entry 13. 5/18

I started working with Daniel again. I was a bit nervous because I’m so used to working with Xuan, Xuan is already my good friend, but Daniel is still new to me. To prepare, I learned a few Spanish phrases online: “How are you?” “Are you happy?” “Do you want to play with the horse?”
We also got new colorful reins and tried exercises like stopping, changing direction, weaving, and looking left and right. Daniel still followed his dad closely, but when we finished, he ran to the horse and said “thank you” in Spanish. I found that very encouraging! That moment showed me he was beginning to connect.
