Riding for Disabled

About our club
Our “Riding for Disabled” club is a student club that focuses on providing horse therapy to disabled children. Our goal is not to generate profit, but to offer a supporting experience through a creative way: bonding the horse and the rider. We aim to make a difference in the emotional and psychological health of children, improving their physical and mental health while letting them enjoy a relaxing ride.
What Makes Us Different
Student-led: Founded and directed by a high school junior with 5 years of riding experience
Individualized: Each child's program is tailored to their needs
Long-term: Weekly sessions, not one-time events — children build lasting relationships with horses
Our vision
We are certain that horse riding offers something money cannot buy–a sense of calm and joy. By connecting with horses, we aim to help those who are struggling with anger or anxiety, find moments of peace that will positively impact their well-being.
Logo design
Our club logo features bright green, a color that represents sustainability and a deep connection to nature. In psychology, green is associated with peace, freshness, growth, health, and well-being.
Club structure
President: Reanna, who manages volunteer coordinations and publicity
Vice President: Sunny, who manages scheduling and volunteer coordination
Members: a community of volunteers dedicated to helping those with special needs, assist in various fields to ensure our therapy sessions run smoothly
Future prospects
We are currently working on systematically documenting the horse riding progress and changes in each child after every session, ensuring that we can track their progress and improvements in terms of emotional stability.
